What is a “Dingbat”: Dingbats are visual word puzzles from which a well known phrase or saying has to be identified. Although similar in concept to the puzzles that were used in TV’s “Catchphrase,” Dingbats generally rely on text rather than pictures.
How do you play? In this game the “Dingbats” are the cunningly disguised names, phrases and sayings that are turned around, upside-down, sideways or jumbled up, which you need to work out. Sometimes, the pictures combined with a word or a number will give you your answer.
