If you are a Galway Library card holder, the Galway Public Library has Museums passes that can be checked out using your Galway Public Library card. Depending on the pass and museum event the admission is free or discounted.

The Hyde Museum Pass is available for registered Library Patrons in the Galway Central School District to check out for 3 days. The Galway Public Library Museum pass cardholder and family (2 adults/children under age 18) receive free admission to the Hyde Museum complex in Glens Falls, NY, plus discounted admission to ticketed special exhibitions. Included with admission: audio guides by cell, family activities, The Artist’s Studio for Children, docent-led tours, lectures, and programs (excluding special events). The Children’s Museum at Saratoga – Free to registered library patrons in the Galway Central School District, for 1 Adult and 1 child per visit. All others will be charged at $10.00 each. New hours in the new location, 65 South Broadway: Monday – Saturday: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Sunday: CLOSED.
The Museum is proud to participate in the Blue Star Museums program, a nationwide initiative that provides free admission to museums, zoos, science centers, and cultural institutions for active-duty military personnel and their families each summer. The program is a collaboration among museums across the country created to recognize and thank military families for their service and sacrifice by making arts, culture, and educational experiences more accessible.
Beginning on Armed Forces Day on Saturday, May 16, 2026 through Labor Day on Monday, September 7, 2026, active-duty service members and up to five family members may visit the Museum free of charge with valid military identification presented at check-in. Admission through the program is valid for single-day entry only and applies during regular Museum operating hours.
In addition, the Museum is honored to offer a special Buy One, Get One admission deal for veterans throughout the duration of the program. Valid identification is required for this offer as well.
