Books and More:
From the road, the Galway Public Library appears to be too
small to offer a wide range of books and services. However, once you
step inside, you’ll discover that the library is packed with
a fantastic variety of books, DVDs, videos, books on cassette, and CD!
We have large print books for those who have difficulty
reading regular sized type.
Our children's section is growing every month; we have both
fun fiction reading and a large Children's Non-fiction Section that
many kids use after school and on the weekends for their school reports
-- from Insect Reports to Country Reports to Fairy Tales.
Our new books and audio books are loaned for 2 weeks; all
other books may be kept for 4 weeks. Videos and DVDs may be borrowed
for three days.
We will be happy to renew them once for you over the phone if
you need more time.
