Galway Public Library will host a book signing and reading with local author Dennis McFadden, author of the newly released short story collection entitled “Hart’s Grove”, published by Colgate University Press.

“Hart’s Grove” a collection of ten tales planted in the small, hilly town of Hart’s Grove, Pennsylvania, provides a glimpse of ordinary people going about the extraordinary business of living day to day in a place where the collars are blue and the sleeves are plain, unadorned by the hearts of their wearers. The lives of McFadden’s characters are turned upside-down by events and situations in stories that are sometimes poignant or even tragic, but more often laugh-out-loud funny.

Dennis McFadden, a project manager for New York State lives and writes in an old farmhouse called Mountjoy on Bliss Road near Galway, NY.
